Heavy Workover Campaign and Petrophysical Evaluation

Client: PETROCI CI-11 Ltd
Location: CI-11 Block, Côte d’Ivoire
Fields: GULFTIDE, LION A, LION B, PANTHERE C, PANTHERE D
Year: 2022-2023

Description:
Panafrican Energy Services Group (PESG) was contracted by PETROCI CI-11 Ltd to provide a comprehensive technical scope for heavy workover operations in the CI-11 Block. The project involved a thorough analysis of the well data from GULFTIDE, LION, and PANTHERE fields, aimed at prolonging the lifespan of these aging assets and optimizing hydrocarbon recovery.

The key objective was to deliver a detailed technical roadmap for conducting heavy workovers, focusing on enhancing production efficiency and ensuring the long-term viability of these fields. This included the assessment of well integrity, the identification of production constraints, and the design of customized interventions for each well.

Outcome:
PESG successfully developed a technical workover plan, which included specific interventions, schedules, and a comprehensive cost estimate. The technical proposal outlined the required steps for extending the life of the fields and improving production performance.

In addition to the workover campaign, a complete petrophysical evaluation of the CI-11 Block was carried out in 2023. This evaluation provided valuable insights into reservoir behavior, ensuring better reservoir management and guiding future development strategies for PETROCI CI-11 Ltd.

This collaboration reinforced PESG’s ability to deliver high-value technical solutions tailored to the needs of local operators, while ensuring compliance with international industry standards.
